SALT LAKE CITY – Mascots, superheroes and young readers will invade Smith’s Ballpark for the Salt Lake Bees penultimate homestand of the season. The Bees will host the Omaha Storm Chasers and Iowa Cubs for an eight-game homestand beginning on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 7:05 p.m. Below is an overview of the theme nights, community activities, promotions, giveaways and other events during the Aug. 15-22 homestand.
Saturday, Aug. 15 vs. Omaha Storm Chasers 7:05 p.m.
– Bumble will celebrate his birthday by inviting all of his mascot friends to the Ballpark. The first 1,500 kids to the ballpark will receive a Bees party hat.
– Student Neighborhood Access Program (SNAP) Postgame Kids Run on the field following the game.
– Sons of Baseball MVP visit.
– KJZZ 14 televised broadcast.
Sunday, Aug. 16 vs. Omaha Storm Chasers, 1:05 p.m.
– Final 1:05 p.m. matinee start of the season
– Brunch at the Ballpark. $25 gets a game ticket and an all-you-can-eat brunch on the patio prior to the game. Brunch packages can be ordered online at www.slbees.com.
Monday, Aug. 17 vs. Omaha Storm Chasers, 7:05 p.m.
– Mondays are Smith’s Family Night which includes four hot dogs and four game tickets for $20 at Smith’sTix locations.

– Kids Eat Free Tuesday. All kids 12-and-under receive a voucher for a free hot dog, drink and snack.

– Jazz Night at the Ballpark with appearances from Mehmet Okur, Jazz dancers and Jazz Bear.
– KSL Read Today Night. More than 4,000 young readers will celebrate the completion of their summer reading program and the beginning of the new school year with a Bees game.
– Wienerschnitzel $1 Hot Dog Night.

– Thirsty Thursday with $2.75 drinks.
Friday, Aug. 21 vs. Iowa Cubs, 6:35 p.m.
