Tyler Bredthauer serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Internal Auditor for Prestige Financial Services (PFS). In his current role, Mr. Bredthauer is responsible to understand applicable laws and regulations including monitoring, assessing, and analyzing risks and controls of PFS and ensure that corporate governance is strong and effective. Mr. Bredthauer is a member of the American Financial Services Association (AFSA) and sits on the AFSA Operations and Regulatory Compliance Committee, the State Government Affairs Committee, and the State Vehicle Finance Subcommittee.
Prior to joining Prestige, Mr. Bredthauer worked as a financial institutions examiner at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Mr. Bredthauer routinely led teams of examiners in evaluating banks’ financial strength and regulatory compliance. Prior to Mr. Bredthauer’s time at the FDIC, he was an analyst for YRC Worldwide Inc., a Fortune 500 company and one of the nation’s largest transportation providers. There, Mr. Bredthauer was involved in the pricing and profitability analysis of high-level corporate accounts including Wal-Mart, Staples, Kimberly-Clark, and Ford. Mr. Bredthauer has a B.S. in finance from the University of Utah and an MBA with an emphasis in finance from Avila University. Mr. Bredthauer also volunteers his time to coach youth sports including the local Junior Jazz program.
