Blake Andersen is the president of the Larry H. Miller Megaplex Theatres (Megaplex). He joined the LHM Group in 2006 as manager of Megaplex 20 at The District. He later worked as assistant general manager, vice president, and senior vice president, before assuming his current role as president of Megaplex Theatres. Under his leadership, many of the Megaplex Theatres have ranked in the top 10 in the nation for gross revenue on opening weekends.
Blake earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Weber State University and a management training certificate from Purdue University. He has received the Excellence in Operations Award from Cineplex Odeon and was named Operational Manager of the Year by AMC Theatres. He was awarded the LHM Kaizen Award in 2009 and 2015 for most improved operations.
Blake currently sits on the advisory board for the Utah State Film Commission. He was honored as Foster/Adoptive Father of the Year in 2005, and he and his wife received the Child Advocate of the Year Award by Prevent Child Abuse Utah in 2012. Blake’s hobbies include snow skiing, traveling and spending time with his family.
