Each year, deserving students from diverse backgrounds receive the Larry H. and Gail Miller Enrichment Scholarship to further their academic pursuits at The University of Utah and help them make significant contributions to the community. For many of the recipients, the scholarships offered by Gail Miller and the Miller Family allow them to be the first in their families to attend college.

Whenever possible, students are selected from applicants whose ethnic background is under-represented in higher education in Utah or those who are first-generation college students. The scholarships are awarded to students who will contribute to an educationally diverse environment at the University of Utah.  A primary goal of the scholarship is to integrate students with campus life through volunteer community and leadership service.
