We are grateful to be part of an organization that prioritizes people, employees and customers, and our collective heritage. During the month of February, we took the opportunity to celebrate Black History Month by gathering our employees’ perspectives on African-American accomplishments, milestones, and contributions to our nation’s history.
We often say that our culture is a differentiating factor that contributes to our success and makes the Larry H. Miller Group of Companies unique. One key element of our culture is the commitment to create an inclusive environment where we invite and encourage diverse perspectives, ideas, and people. It is this inclusive approach that allows us to remain competitive and innovative—now and in the future.
“I want to personally thank you for your commitment to the Miller family’s mission and values and for the support and kindness you give to one another. The more time we spend together confirms to me that our histories and stories unite us and make us better,” CEO Steve Starks shared in an email to all employees.
In addition to celebrations and observances around the company, several videos were created featuring employees, guests, and partners of the Larry H. Miller Group. The Utah Jazz created a series of vignettes, which were played at home games during February. Another video was created to share the thoughts and personal experiences of employees at Prestige Financial, Saxton Horne, LHM Dealerships, and LHM Sports & Entertainment.
