David Blain, president of Saxton Horne Communications, a full-service advertising and marketing agency, announced the hiring of Emily Millard as digital director. Millard will spearhead and drive the opportunity space for Saxton Horne and its clients’ digital presence. “Emily is an excellent addition to our digital team and completes the trifecta of media clout, digital/social marketing and data analytics,” said Blain. “In her new role, she will help synthesize how digital interactions fit into the overall marketing strategy in a clear and compelling way.” Millard will develop cross-functional digital strategies and targeted multi-channel digital marketing programs for clients that will help them successfully build profitable, long-term relationships with customers. Prior to Saxton Horne, Millard served as creative director for the Steal Network where she helped start and build the company from a basement operation to a 35,000-square-foot warehouse with $16.4 million in sales and more than 1.7 million orders. She was also an interactive media manager for Bonneville Intl. and worked as a Webmaster for Simmons Media Group.
