New Utah Jazz license plates are available to the public through the Utah Division of Motor Vehicles, effective today, with sale proceeds benefitting programs for women and children through Larry H. Miller Charities. Miller Charities,” said Randy Rigby, president of the Utah Jazz. “We are thrilled to join with the State of Utah in offering Jazz plates for the first time when people register or renew their personal vehicles.” Utah Jazz license plates can be ordered through the mail or purchased at statewide DMV offices. Special group plates consist of a five-character combination on the right with the Jazz note on the left and “Utah Jazz” in block letters on the bottom. The Jazz specialty plates were created by law during Utah’s 2014 legislative session. To obtain a special group plate by mail, please submit a copy of your current registration, any documentation required for the special plate, a check for $43 that includes $15 for the cost of the plate, $25 initial contribution for Larry H.
