For the last few months, 15 members from the LHM organization participated in the Career Development Series and the Rising Leader Series from WLI, an organization dedicated to uplifting women in the workplace.

Each month, participants attended in-person classes to network with other professional women from industries such as tech, healthcare, marketing, sales, accounting, and more to hear about their careers and experiences.

Participants also learned from business professionals, board members, and local decision-makers who taught lessons on personality types, leadership and management skills and how women can find different paths to success in professional fields.

Sam Cook, Senior Membership Service Manager at the Salt Lake Bees, participated in the Rising Leader Series and said she was immensely grateful for her chance to participate in the WLI Rising Leader Series.  

“Not only was the environment incredibly impactful and supportive, but the knowledge I gained was truly invaluable,” Sam said. “I look forward to implementing my new leadership skills and knowledge to directly support Miller Sports + Entertainment.”
