Blake Andersen currently is an Executive in Residence at the Larry H. Miller Company. He joined the company in 2006. Prior to his current role, he served as the president of Megaplex Theatres, president of Pro Stop convenience stores and served as chief operating officer of Larry H. Miller Sports + Entertainment.
Blake serves as an advisory board member for the Utah State Film Commission, an advisory board member with the National Association of Theatre Operators and a member of the LiveDaybreak board.
Blake has engaged in several humanitarian efforts, including a major relief effort to help refugees from the war in Ukraine and a humanitarian trip to Nicaragua.
Blake received the Excellence in Operations Award from Cineplex Odeon and was named Operational Manager of the Year by AMC Theatres. He was awarded the prestigious Larry H. Miller Company Kaizen Award in 2009 and 2015. Under Blake’s leadership, the LHM Megaplex team received the 2022 Coca-Cola Corporate Partner of the Year award.
Blake earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Weber State University and a management certificate from Purdue University. He has been awarded Foster/Adoptive Father of the Year and the Child Advocate of the Year Award by Prevent Child Abuse Utah. Blake and his wife, Susan, reside in North Salt Lake, Utah. His hobbies include gardening, traveling, and spending time with his family, including six children and four grandchildren.
