Marc Amicone joined the Larry H. Miller Company in 2004 as General Manager for the Salt Lake Bees and was named President in 2017. Marc was recognized as the Pacific Coast League’s Executive of the Year in 2009. In 2015, the Salt Lake Bees received Baseball America’s Bob Freitas Award as the outstanding Triple-A franchise. Marc also received the 2017 Larry H. & Gail Miller Values Award.
Before joining the Larry H. Miller Company, Marc earned a bachelor’s degree in commercial recreation management and a master’s degree in sports administration from the University of Utah. Marc was the assistant athletic director at the University of Utah for 16 years. Starting his career in 1979 as an intern with the Salt Lake Golden Eagles, he became the club’s general manager eight years later. He was awarded the IHL’s Executive of the Year award twice. Marc currently sits on the MLB’s Youth Baseball and Softball Development Committee.
