To honor the upcoming 20th anniversary of 9/11 and participate in the National Day of Service and Remembrance, LHM Group employees on the Jordan Commons campus in Sandy, Utah, are holding a Driven to Assist food and clothing drive to benefit Utah Food Bank and Shelter the Homeless.
The Salt Lake Bees will also participate by holding a donation drive at Smith’s Ballpark throughout the day on Saturday, September 11. The LHM Group will collect donations at Jordan Commons through Friday, September 10, when donations will be delivered to Smith’s Ballpark to kick off their efforts.
Donation bins for food and clothing are located on floors 2, 5, and 9 of the Jordan Commons Tower and at the Jordan Commons Megaplex Theatres in the Rialto wing.
The most-needed non-perishable food items include:
- Peanut Butter
- Mac & Cheese
- Canned Meats (tuna, chicken, or beef)
- Chili
- SpaghettiOs/Ravioli
- Canned Fruits
- Other Boxed Meals
Clothing donations are also being collected, which will be distributed to the Homeless Resource Centers. The shelters are in need of new socks and underwear and new or gently used clothing (including coats and closed-toe shoes) for children and adults.
Serving the community and enriching lives are part of the culture and values of the LHM Group.
