SALT LAKE CITY (December 3, 2018) — The sounds of Christmas will fill Vivint Smart Home Arena on Monday, December 17 as the Larry H. Miller family hosts a free Christmas concert featuring special musical group The Bonner Family and emceed by the multi-talented Jason Hewlett.
This year’s performance marks the 34th year for the holiday community event. The Christmas Carole Sing-Along will feature the 60-piece West Valley Symphony of Utah conducted by Donny Gilbert. Sterling Poulson returns this year as the guest conductor.
The special musical group, The Bonner Family, is one of the most talented families working in music today. Comprised of parents Debra and Harry along with their eight children, The Bonner Family’s expertly crafted vocal harmonies and rich, soulful sounds will fill Vivint Smart Home Arena with music that creates an atmosphere of peace, unity, and joy.
Performer, entertainer, and celebrated host Jason Hewlett will serve as this year’s emcee. Author and a member of the Speakers Hall of Fame, Jason will bring his vast talents of humor, music, and authenticity to the Christmas Carole Sing-Along stage.
Admission is free of charge, and the public is welcome. No tickets are necessary, and all seating is general admission. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the concert starting at 7 p.m. Free parking will be available at the Park Place (on 300 West South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84103).
Guests will receive a holiday treat and complimentary Larry H. Miller gift package while supplies last. Audience members are encouraged to sing along printed programs with song lyrics will be provided.
